It's a sad and bizarre story about the family of America's sweetheart, actress Reese Witherspoon. Betty Witherspoon filed a lawsuit accusing her husband of bigamy. John Witherspoon's wedding to Tricianne Taylor was announced in a Tennessee newspaper last month. But Betty says this marriage is not legal because she is still married to John.

In legal documents, Betty says: "When I confronted my husband, he said he didn't know who Tricianne Taylor was and that he did not remember getting married."

Betty says her husband is troubled, dealing with alcohol, hoarding and money problems. She also believes he's suffering from early onset dementia.

Betty believes Taylor is living in a condo owned by Reese Witherspoon and that she's gotten John to change his will to include her.

Betty added that she still loves her husband and says: "I also fear for my husband's personal safety and the safety of my family."

No word from Reese Witherspoon.
