March 25, 2017, the public memorial for Carrie Fisher, and her mother Debbie Reynolds, who died within days of each other in late 2016, will be streamed on both the stars’ websites.
The event promises to be star studded, and will even feature Carrie Fisher’s beloved dog, Gary.
The memorial will take place in a 1,200-seat theatre at Forest Lawn cemetery, where Carrie and Debbie were both laid to rest in January. The seats will be first come first served, with overflow seating outside the theater.
James Blunt is said to also have a role in the memorial according to TMZ. Though he will not be singing, apparently he and Carrie Fisher were quite close. In fact Carrie Fisher was the godmother to his daughter.
The service will be held at 1:00 pm PT on March 25.
