I think we were all a little shocked when last night at the Golden Globes, when Isabelle Huppert, a 63 year old French Actress won Best Actress in a Drama. So who is this woman? She must be an amazing actress to beat out the competition. She stars in Elle, a film about a successful businesswoman, Michèle Leblanc, who gets into dangerous territory as she tries to track down her rapist.
Isabelle is most known internationally for the films Things to Come, The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Them and the 2012 film Amour. She started her career in theater and had her film debut in 1971. She has been a celebrated actress in France and in the International film community for 45 years.
