Sally Struthers arrested for drunk driving

Sally Struthers, of "All In The Family" fame was arrested Wednesday night in Maine for OUI.

Operating Under the Influence is similar to Driving Under the Influence, but it is a more all encompassing term. A person charged with OUI could be sitting in a running car without actually driving it while under the influence. Maine, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island are the states that use the acronym OUI to describe a person using a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. 

Sally Struthers is in Maine starring in the play 9 To 5. Law Enforcement authorities tell TMZ that she was cooperative and was released after posting $160 bail.

Arraignment is set for December 14.
