I kind of feel like Survivor might've struck out with this whole Fans vs. Faves biz. After tonight's episode, which saw Fans lose for the third time in a row and clearly fail at strategy, I'm finding it harder and harder to get excited about the competition.
I don't know, maybe they could've mixed up the teams, so it wasn't completely amateurs vs. veterans. Ultimately, I think some other arrangement would have led to episodes that weren't nearly as predictable as tonight's was.
The only shocker was that Fans member Shamar took himself out of the game after a seemingly innocuous eye scratch turned into an omg-he-could-go-blind moment.
In the end, Fans predictably kicked off the weakest link after the only alliance that had amounted to anything fell apart in disarray.
I'll keep watching, of course, and hoping that once the tribes dissolve we get some worthy game play and strategy thrown our way.
