Remember when you couldn't get through the grocery store checkout without being stared in the face by a tabloid bearing the image of Heidi Montag? Or worse yet, Speidi (the combination of Heidi and her bad boy husband, Spencer Pratt)? Heidi and Spencer were the original fame whores.

After appearing briefly on the "Reality" Show Laguna Beach, Heidi stole front and center on The Hills and made best frenemies with Lauren Conrad, and the rest of America. She met her match in Spencer Pratt, a camera hogging socialite low life, and the two eventually joined forces. For a while there, it was unclear whether their relationship was the real deal or staged, and they even separated for a Hollywood minute. Strangely, their marriage has stood the test of time. At least in Hollywood years.  

I remember watching the two compete on the ill fated show I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. The two bashed heads with Lou Diamond Phillips, Janice Dickinson, and Steven Baldwin, among others before ultimately opting to leave the competition before it's completion. So uncharacteristic of two who never met a camera that they weren't desperate for.

So, occasionally it occurs to me to wonder what Heidi is up to these days, and today I got an answer. Heidi is getting paid $25,000 to host the 3rd Anniversary Party at the Las Vegas' Crazy Horse III strip club. She and her surgically enhanced... everything will only be hosting, she will not go nude. Spencer will be in attendance, no doubt trying to steal a little of the spotlight himself. If you find yourself in the Vegas area and are keen to support your favorite ex-"reality"-fame-whore, you'll want to be at Crazy Horse III on October 19 where you can treat yourself to beautiful entertainers, cocktails, sushi, and hookah.
