Chloë Moretz has been chosen as the face of casualwear retailer Aéropostale because of her extreme interest in fashion.

The actress has signed on to be a spokesperson for the casualwear retailer and take part in special promotions such as style competitions, a spokesperson revealed.

The 15-year-old is known for her love of fashion and can often be spotted in the front row of international catwalk presentations.

Earlier this year, she was named MaxMara's Face of the Future.

"She's extremely interested in fashion" a spokesperson for Aropostale told WWD. "She sits in the front row at all high-end fashion shows. She'll judge contests for us and be the spokesperson for our Teens for Jeans campaign."

Chlo has previously expressed her doubts about becoming a fashion icon at such a young age.

The Hugo star doesn't want to cram too many overwhelming experiences into her teenage years.

"If I do one [a campaign] now, then what am I going to do when I'm 20. I'm still pretty new to all of this, and I don't want to pile everything in the first few years. I want something to look forward to," she said.
