John Mayer has reportedly been "eyeing up" Jennifer Lawrence.

The singer has dated a host of famous faces, including Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson. It now appears he has set his sights on The Hunger Games actress. According to RadarOnline, John was spotted trying to impress Jennifer at Medieval Times in Los Angeles on Saturday night.

"It was almost like she was a little nervous being around him. She kept giggling and covering her mouth. It was cute," a source told the website. "And John was eyeing up Jennifer like he was a dog and she was a juicy pork chop! When he lays on the charm he lays it on real thick!

"He's really well read so he kept using his knowledge of the medieval era to make puns and crack everyone up. He was even putting on an English accent at times and ordering 'beer-eth.' Jennifer thought he was a riot. It was like a freshman having a crush on the captain of the football team."

It has also been claimed the pair enjoyed a shopping trip with Zooey Deschanel in Melrose Avenue recently. John was even reportedly spotted massaging Jennifer's shoulders.

Despite John's best efforts to woo Jennifer, it appears the 21-year-old beauty is not romantically interested in the musician.

Jennifer has been dating British actor Nicholas Hoult for around two years and the pair are "madly in love".
