Kristen Stewart is "so proud" of Robert Pattinson's performance in Cosmopolis.

The two stars began dating after they appeared in the Twilight franchise and although that has now wrapped their romance is still going strong.

Kristen attended the Cannes Film Festival premiere of Robert's new David Cronenberg movie recently and has discussed how impressive her beau is in it.

"He's so good!" she enthused. "He's really, really [good]. I don't even know how he [did it]. I couldn't even understand it. It's so good, it's so cool, I'm so proud of him. Thank God."

Cosmopolis is based on the book by Don DeLillo and follows Eric Packer portrayed by Robert during one day in his life. Eric is a millionaire who is traveling across Manhattan when a host of unexpected things happen.

Kristen was at Cannes to promote her new movie On the Road and was amazed by how fun the event was.

"It's the ultimate celebration," she told MTV News. "I was so oddly placed in my body, which I'm so unable to do. I was not nervous. I had the greatest time it was so cool."
