Nicole Scherzinger's boyfriend Lewis Hamilton is being lined up for a role in a movie about Formula 1.
Oscar-winning director Ron Howard says he would like the racing driver to star in his upcoming movie Rush. He has been blown away by his work as a consultant on the film and hopes he will accept a part in the film about battles between drivers.
"Lewis is great. The most impressive thing about him is that he came from a humble background and climbed to the top of his game," Ron told British newspaper The Sun.
"I had a long chat with him while starting work on the film, he was basically a consultant.
"I don't know if he would go for it. There should be a role for him, if he wanted it."
Rush follows the story of Austrian Formula 1 ace Niki Lauda and the late British driver James Hunt.
Daniel Bruhl is portraying Niki, while Chris Hemsworth is playing James.
Ron won the Inspiration prize at the Empire Film Awards in London on Monday night. His credits include Academy Award winning Cocoon, Apollo 13, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and A Beautiful Mind.
