Patrick Duffy "wishes" he had known about waxing while starring in a TV show during the '70s.
Before the actor found fame playing Bobby Ewing in Dallas, he starred in a short-lived sci-fi series called Man From Atlantis. In the show, Patrick played a character who was believed to be the only surviving citizen from the lost civilization of Atlantis. He possessed superhuman powers and sported a hair-free body for the role.
The 63-year-old has joked that shaving was a time consuming process, and he would have preferred to wax all his hair off.
"I actually wish I had known about waxing while I was doing Man From Atlantis, because I did shave my whole body. It took forever," he told UK TV show Lorraine. "I had to do it twice a week, just shaving everything."
Although Patrick accepts waxing would have saved him a lot of time, he isn't sure he could handle the pain. In fact, after considering how much it would hurt to have regular body waxes, he appeared to have second thoughts about the process.
"I would have done it had I known about it then, except it looks painful so... probably not," he added.
