Robert Pattinson's latest co-star didn't want to get to know him off set.

The British actor and Sarah Gadon appear in director David Cronenberg's latest offering Cosmopolis. Their on-screen relationship is fraught and Sarah went to great lengths to ensure that shone through.

"I really tried not to get to know him. I know that sounds really strange as he's a lovely guy. But the people we play don't know each other emotionally, even though we're married, so I wanted that to come across naturally on screen. He agreed it was a good thing," she explained to British magazine Grazia.

Sarah is currently making a name for herself in movies and has worked with David before. She is enjoying her newfound fame as it means she can be choosier about her film parts.

"When your career is starting off, you're fighting for roles and it can feel like you have no choice in what you get. But I'm getting there," she said.
