The British festival was cancelled this year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and in honor of the much-loved music event, BBC executives treated viewers to classic headline sets from acts such as Coldplay, Beyonce, JAY Z, Bruce Springsteen, and David Bowie.

On Saturday, the TV network aired Adele’s iconic headline set from 2016, and the Grammy-winning singer was unable to resist tuning in and reliving the experience at her home.

Joking that she’d had a few drinks to celebrate, the 32-year-old jumped at the chance of rewearing the hand-embroidered Chloe dress that was designed especially for her Glastonbury headline set in her living room.

“5 ciders in,” Adele quipped in the caption alongside two snaps. In the first image, the mother-of-one crouched in front of her television wearing grey sweatpants and an oversized white T-shirt, and the second snap saw the Rolling in the Deep hitmaker rocking the Chloe dress as she spun around her living room, dancing along to her set.

The custom-made gown was designed by Clare Waight Keller, who was artistic director of the fashion house at the time, and the show-stopping dress took more than 200 hours to make due.

Back in 2016, the designer took to social media to share her delight at Adele wearing her creation at one of the world’s biggest music festivals.

“So proud – the incredible amazing @adele live at #Glastonburyfestival in @chloe green bespoke beaded dress,” Clare wrote on Instagram at the time.
