Amber Rose has defended her decision to have her sons’ names tattooed onto her face.
The model/actress took to Instagram earlier this week to upload two snaps showing her new body art – the words “Bash” and “Slash” in italic script across the top of her forehead – a tribute to her boys Sebastian, six, and four-month-old Slash.
However, many of Amber’s 19 million followers were quick to criticise her bold inkings, with one writing, “Why on your beautiful face. Of all places?” and another adding: “That’s not real. No way. Please no.”
But it appears the 36-year-old is unfazed by the backlash, and in a post on Wednesday, she commented, “Beauty is not what’s on the outside… it’s what’s on the inside that counts. Inside of my P**sy and inside of my heart.”
She also uploaded a note where she fired back at claims that she was “too pretty” for a face tattoo.
“For the people that are telling me I’m too pretty for a face tat are the same people that would tell me I’m ‘too pretty’ even if they thought I was ugly and lie to me Lol (laugh out loud). Or they would just tell me I’m ugly,” she wrote. “So either way the moral of the story is do whatever the f**k you want in life – Muva.”
Amber is the latest celebrity to get a face tattoo. Her partner, Def Jam record label executive Alexander ‘A.E’ Edwards, who is the father of baby Slash, got the birth dates of the two children on his forehead with a lightning bolt in between the numbers earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Chris Brown, Post Malone, and Presley Gerber have all taken to social media in recent weeks to display their new facial designs.
Amber shares Sebastian with her ex-husband, rapper Wiz Khalifa.
