Amy Schumer made an X-rated joke about husband Chris Fischer as they exchanged vows at their surprise wedding earlier this month (Feb18).
The 36-year-old actress tied the knot with chef Chris on 13 February – with the nuptials stunning fans as they came just months after the pair started dating.
While the romantic ceremony was serious at points, it also included some of Amy’s signature humor.
During an interview on her friend Nikki Glaser‘s Sirius XM show, Amy revealed that she penned her vows in just 20 minutes, laughing: “Mine sucked! I thought mine were good… I was crying when I wrote them, but his blew me out of the water so hard.”
Nikki, who had been a guest at the wedding, chipped in: “I remember a joke from yours. You go, ‘You make me laugh, you make me smile, you make me feel loved, you make me food.'”
“In my vows I go, ‘But I promise I’ll keep going down on you, even though everyone tells me I won’t’,” Amy added.
Trainwreck star Amy also shared that she loved the heckling nature of her and Chris’ vows, adding that the foodie said: “The other day I lost a tennis match and you called me a f**king loser.”
“It was all like, awful s**t,” Amy laughed. “All his stories about me that were supposed to be endearing were about me screaming at him. I just annoy him all day. I’ll be like, ‘Do you want to play a game?’ and he’s like, ‘What?’ And I’m like, ‘Guess how many times I sneezed today?’ And like, that’ll be the game. And he’ll be like, ‘Three.’ And I’ll be like, ‘Don’t remember!’ And he’s like, ‘I’m spending my life with this worthless monster?'”
Elsewhere in the interview, Amy added that she’s a big fan of being Chris wife, and that the novelty of being a married woman has yet to wear off.
“It feels f**king good!” she smiled. “I’m a wife as hell. But it’s still a novelty. Somebody went to sit next to (Chris) and he’s like, ‘My wife is sitting here,’ and then I got back and he was excited to tell me that he said that.”
