Austin Butler has been tapped as a brand ambassador for Cartier.

The actor, who is getting rave reviews for his portrayal of Elvis Presley in the new biopic Elvis, will front upcoming campaigns for the luxury brand.

“I am thrilled and honoured to begin this exciting relationship with Cartier,” the 30-year-old said in a statement, according to WWD. “I have long been an admirer of the maison’s creativity and innovation, and I’m very much looking forward to the work we will be doing together in the future.”

Austin has aligned himself with the fine jeweller in recent months, wearing Cartier jewellery to the 2022 Met Gala and at the premiere of Elvis at the Cannes Film Festival.

And Arnaud Carrez, Cartier’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer, is adamant the rising star is the perfect fit for the company.

“We are delighted to welcome Austin into the maison as an ambassador for North America,” he added. “As a talented actor, Austin’s bold approach to life and unique sense of style are inherently aligned with our core values here at Cartier.”

Austin follows in the footsteps of Cartier ambassadors including BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, Timothée Chalamet, and Lily Collins.
