October 21st, 2015 is an auspicious date for fans of Back to the Future II. That’s the day Marty McFly and Doc Brown arrived in Hill Valley. The movie playing at theaters when they arrive? Jaws 19. Of course.
To commemorate our approaching that auspicious day in pop culture filmdom, Universal Pictures released a trailer for the movie… that is, if it were actually a movie. Which, thank God, it’s not.
Not to be outdone, Pepsi announced that they would commemorate October 21st by releasing limited edition bottles of Pepsi Perfect (the very beverage Marty orders in the film). The bottles will be sold online for the tongue-in-cheek price of… wait for it… $20.15.
God, I love America. And the Internets.
