Brad Pitt has taken his partnership with Brioni one step further by creating a capsule collection.
The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor was made a brand ambassador for the Italian menswear company in late 2019 and has gone on to front a number of its campaigns.
Now, Pitt and the team at Brioni are taking their collaboration to the next level with the launch of the BP Signature range, which marks the first time Brioni has partnered with an ambassador on a capsule.
According to WWD, the collection, which comes in a muted colour palette and soft fabrics, features seven designs including a two-button suit; a long-sleeved cashmere polo sweater; a cashmere sport jacket; an unlined car coat, and a velvet evening jacket with matching wool trousers and fine cotton evening shirt.
Pitt designed an exclusive label featuring his signature which will be stitched inside each garment in the range.
The evening pieces are inspired by the outfit the Fight Club actor wore when he won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood early last year.
Norbert Stumpfl, Brioni’s design director, told the publication working with the 57-year-old “was a chance to design something comfortable, easy, and flexible without sacrificing style or sophistication,” and insisted the collection was versatile and left “ample room for the Brioni man to make his own statement in how to wear it”.
The BP Signature collection is available at Brioni stores, on its website, and in selected retailers now.
