I was super shocked to be offered a complimentary lunch on a recent Delta flight. When the flight attendant offered me a turkey sandwich with chips and a cookie, I thought I accidentally sat in Comfort Class by mistake. No mistake, the airline has added back complimentary food on certain flights.
And it turns out Delta isn’t the only airline focusing on food to set itself apart from the competition.
Our very own Sun Country has started selling $6 mini subs from Jimmy John’s on all domestic flights. It’s not free, but frankly I’m fine paying for a sammy if I’m feeling peckish, especially if it’s from the likes of Jimmy John’s.
All I can say is, keep up the good work, airline friends. Next up, can we work on leg room?
