Cara Delevingne has thanked Anya Taylor-Joy for helping to fix her dress at the 2022 Dior Cruise fashion show in Athens.
The model took to Instagram on Saturday to post a short video showing Anya straightening out the skirt on Cara’s fringe dress to rescue her pal from a last-minute wardrobe malfunction and urged followers to invest in friends who help rather than hinder.
“Find people that will tell you when you have something in your teeth and when you need it most, tell you things you may not want to hear,” Cara wrote in a message to accompany the clip and other photos from the event, including one of the pair holding hands and a close-up of their identical gold cage boots.
“Connection is the only way we can learn and grow so be the women that fixes another women’s crown (dress) instead of pointing out that it was crooked. Also wearing the same thing as someone else only means you have good taste…”
The 28-year-old model looked stunning in the pale gold dress with black straps, which she complemented with smokey eyes and bold red lipstick.
Cara was thrilled to be involved in the Dior event, which took place at the Panathenaic Stadium in Greece last Thursday, and paid tribute to the team behind the show.
“A magical night in Athens to be remembered forever,” she wrote. “Beyond grateful to be a part of the @dior family. Thank you to the whole Dior team who constantly work so hard and of course, @mariagraziachiuri who continues to inspire me on so many levels – as a woman and as an artist with a purpose.”
Anya also turned heads at the fashion show with her outfit, resembling a Grecian goddess in her semi-sheer shimmering full-length golden gown.
The Queen’s Gambit actress seemed to enjoy being part of the event, as she took to Instagram to voice her appreciation for the luxury fashion house and its creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri.
“Merci @dior + @mariagraziachiuri for your hospitality, generosity and a beautiful show. We had a blast :),” she posted on Sunday, before sharing several glamorous shots of her attending the event.
