Christina Aguilera has swapped her blonde hair for new flame red locks.
The 35-year-old singer has had platinum blonde tresses for the past few years, but switched things up with a sexy new auburn look as she attended a Hillary Clinton fundraiser in Los Angeles on Monday night.
Christina shared a snap of her new look on her Instagram page, alongside a red pout emoji. The symbol referenced the scarlet lips the mother-of-two was rocking for the occasion.
She complemented her gently curled hair and sexy pout with false eyelashes to give her a real Jessica Rabbit vibe.
For her outfit, Christina opted for a plunging black suit jacket and bejeweled bra to highlight her ample assets. The singer also showcased her vocal talents at the event as she took to the stage to perform her 2006 hit Ain’t No Other Man. She was introduced by Cher, who starred alongside her in 2010 movie Burlesque. The 70-year-old singer told the audience: “She’s my friend, she was my co-star. She’s one of the greatest singers ever!”
The event also marked the 10th anniversary of Ain’t No Other Man, taken from Christina’s Back to Basics record.
Other stars to perform at the Hillary fundraiser included Stevie Wonder and Ricky Martin.
Christina has never been afraid to experiment with her hair. When she appeared as a judge on U.S. TV talent show The Voice first back in 2012, the singer’s hair stylist was David Babaii, who told Realstyle.com that she loves giving new looks a go.
“She loves change and has loved each look I have created for her,” he said. “She is really beautiful so she would look great if I placed a brown paper bag on her head.”
Christina enjoyed success as a judge on this year’s series of the show as well, with her protege Alisan Porter being crowned the winner.0
