Christopher Plummer has died at the age of 91

Christopher Plummer has passed away at the age of 91. Best known for “The Sound of Music.”

He passed peacefully at his home in Connecticut, with Elaine Taylor, his wife and true best friend for 53 years by his side. He is survived by his wife and his daughter Amanda Plummer. He won an Oscar for “Beginners” and was nominated for “All the Money in the World” and “The Last Station.” Plummer most recently costarred in “Knives Out.” Via Variety “Chris was an extraordinary man who deeply loved and respected his profession with great old fashion manners, self deprecating humor and the music of words,” Lou Pitt, his longtime friend and manager of 46 years said. “He was a National Treasure who deeply relished his Canadian roots.
