Coldplay won’t tour until it can be environmentally sustainable

Coldplay’s new album, EVERYDAY LIFE, is out today, but don’t look for the band to hit the road in support of their new music any time soon. Chris Martin says the band does not want to tour until it can be an environmentally sustainable activity.

Martin told the BBC, “We’re taking time over the next year or two, to work out how our tour can not only be sustainable [but] how can it be actively beneficial.”

Instead of touring, the band played two concerts in Amman, Jordan: One at sunrise and one at sunset.
