I get it. My TV tastes are weird. Or at the very least widespread. And random.
For the last month I spend a lot of my time in front of the television watching “How It’s Made” on the Science channel.
The hypnotic how-do-they-do-that show gives you a behind-the-scenes peek into the world of anything manufactured. From pills to paddle boats, I love the meditative step-by-step sojourn through the creation of life’s mostly mundane objects.
I’m not sure why I’ve obsessed over it of late, other than it’s delightfully mind-calming. And perfect background to trolling the Internet… a task we’re quite good at on the radio.
If you’re not fully on board, DVR a couple episodes. You’ll get sucked in before you know it.
And you’ll be able to delight your friends in family with a full explanation of the manufacturing process of humidifiers! Bonus!
