Seven, diverse, women-led, exceptional nonprofit organizations have united in an unprecedented collaborative initiative called LIFE. This inaugural partnership aims to amplify their impact on underserved communities in Minnesota, Haiti, and across Africa through a joint fundraising event.
This group of seven diverse Minnesota women-led organizations hosting a fundraiser together because they believe in the power of collective action and collaboration. They want every child and adult to have access to books and to be able to read. This open house style fundraiser includes food, beverages, a silent auction, and more! LIFE is a partnership with Africa Classroom Connection, Africa Strong, herARTS in Action, Holistic Ministry of Children of the Horn of Africa, Project LOLO, Sanitation & Literacy Ghana, and The Lighthouse. herARTS in Action is serving as the fiscal host, and proceeds will be distributed equally to each organization for their work on literacy.
