Friends fans celebrate as original cast reunite… with one member missing

Kaley Cuoco stunned Friends fans when she shared a picture of the show’s original cast reunited – with only Matthew Perry missing the get together.

The Big Bang Theory actress posted the snap of Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc posing with her and her castmates Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons and Simon Helberg on Instagram.

Kaley didn’t reveal where the picture was taken, but it is believed the casts of the two shows teamed up to record a tribute for sitcom director James Burrows.

“Ummmm NIGHT MADE. Can’t breathe #friends meets #bbt @bigbangtheory_cbs I died and went to heaven,” Kaley captioned the snap.

The group look like they’re having a brilliant time in the picture. Jennifer takes centre stage as she beams from ear to ear, looking stunning in a strapless pink and black dress. She sits next to best friend Courteney, who clasps Kaley’s hand as she stands behind her for the picture. Lisa stands on the other side of Kaley, with Johnny and Simon lining the back row along with Matt, who stands with his hand on David’s shoulder. Jim completes the picture, sitting between David and Jennifer.

Just minutes after Kaley posted the picture on her page, which is in the name of her dog Norman Cook, fans began commenting and ‘liking’ it. At the time of writing, the snap already has an incredible 89,600 likes and over 4,000 comments.

The only member of the Friends cast to have missed the occasion was Matthew, who played Chandler Bing in the beloved television series. He is currently being kept busy in London, England, with his West End play The End of Longing.

It was reported earlier this month (Jan16) that the Friends cast would be reuniting for James’ tribute, with fans worldwide more than a little excited by the news.

However, during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show recently, Matthew set the record straight about just what would be happening.

“It’s not the reunion everyone is hoping for – they are celebrating Jim Burrows, who was a director of Friends,” he explained. “The other five are going to be on this special and I am going to introduce them from London. I’m doing a play here so I can’t be there.”
