Sorry, everyone. A FRIENDS reunion isn’t happening. No matter how hard you ask. No matter how much money you’ve managed to raise in a villainous scheme. Even if you ask really, really nicely.
No FRIENDS reunion ever.
“I got chills up and down my spine and thought, ‘This is special. There is something about these six, this script for them, that’s special.'” – #Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman on the show’s very first rehearsal https://t.co/i9I6QIdo6o pic.twitter.com/bLVYP4By0P

The reason? It’s actually makes sense. The show’s co-creator Marta Kauffman, an a new show retrospective with ROLLING STONE magazine, gives the following reasons:
“One, the show is about a time in your life when your friends are your family. It’s not that time anymore. All we’d be doing is putting those six actors back together, but the heart of the show would be gone. Two, I don’t know what good it does us. The show is doing just fine, people love it. [A reunion] could only disappoint. ‘The One Where Everyone’s Disappointed.'”
So there you have it. In a culture awash with reboots and reunions, I find it refreshing that Kauffman wants to leave the show were it belongs. In the past.
