Gillian Anderson has vowed to never wear a bra again, even if her breasts “reach her belly button”.

The Crown actress revealed her relaxed attitude to underwear on Monday as she hosted an Instagram Live, during which one fan asked about her go-to outfit during the Covid-19 pandemic.

‘It’s probably the same one as my out of lockdown outfit,” Gillian replied. “I mean, I’ve gotten so lazy and I don’t wear a bra anymore. I can’t wear a bra. I can’t, no, I can’t. I’m sorry.”

The 52-year-old star continued to explain she won’t reconsider her bra ban even if her figure starts to suffer from a lack of support.

“I don’t care if my breasts reach my belly button, I’m not wearing a bra anymore. It’s just too f**king uncomfortable,” she insisted.

Fans of the award-winning star were quick to show their support for Gillian’s stance on social media.

One person wrote: “If two time Golden Globe and Emmy winning actress Gillian Anderson says no more bras who are we to disagree.”

“I never wear a bra and I get a lot of distasteful comments about it, so knowing Gillian Anderson doesn’t wear a bra anymore is information most pleasing to me!” said another supporter.

Gillian went on to reveal her outfit of choice at the moment is “comfortable black track pants and a matching hoodie”, adding she would wear it every day if she could.
