On her lifestyle blog, Goop, Gwyneth Paltrow dispenses wisdom learned by a yogi friend on how to execute the perfect yawn. It sounds like a SNL sketch, but it’s not, it’s real life, folks.
Ms. Goop herself starts by sharing the story of the yogi encouraging her to let out a yawn that she was trying to stifle. Noting that letting a good yawn rip is just what the body needs at the moment the urge hits.
Now seems like a good time to tell you that I cannot read, write, hear, or think the word “yawn” without doing it. So, please picture me at my computer right now with eyes full of tears after having yawned no fewer than six times.
