Comedian Jerry Seinfeld and his wife Jessica, who hosted a rehearsal dinner for the actress and her new husband Brad Falchuk on Friday (28Sep18), were spotted arriving at the ceremony, which took place on Saturday evening – just days after Gwyneth celebrated her 46th birthday.
They were joined by director Steven Spielberg, Cameron Diaz and her husband Benji Madden, and Paltrow’s Iron Man co-star Robert Downey, Jr.
The newlyweds announced their engagement in January on the cover of the bride’s Goop Magazine. They met when Paltrow made a guest appearance on Glee – the TV show Falchuk co-produced. They dated for three years before he proposed.
The Oscar winner was previously married to Coldplay star Chris Martin, the father of her two kids Apple and Moses, for 11 years before the former couple famously “consciously uncoupled” in 2014. They divorced in 2016.
Falchuk, 47, also brings two kids, from his 10-year marriage to Suzanne Bukinik, to the marriage.
Saturday’s nuptials were held at Gwyneth’s home in The Hamptons, and guests also reportedly included Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore, Julia Roberts, and Ryan Murphy, who hosted the couple’s engagement party back in April.
Gwyneth’s new husband celebrated his bride-to-be’s birthday on Thursday by dedicating an Instagram post to his sweetheart.
“It’s this timeless beauty’s birthday today,” he wrote beneath a shot of his fiancee. “She was born with endless gifts – big blue eyes, a brain and heart overflowing with curiosity, generosity and possibility and those heartbreakingly long legs that go on and on – but she never rests on any of them.
“Gwyneth, you are the hardest working person I know. From your first cup of coffee in the morning to your last cup of whiskey at night. From the gym to the office to homework at the kitchen table. You give us all of you, all the time. And always with a smile (well, almost always). Maybe that’s why, even though you are the best person ever, you keep getting better every year.”
