Hailey Bieber has been named as the global ambassador for Superga.

The model made her debut in the new role by fronting the Italian footwear brand’s spring 2021 ad campaign, in which she wears Superga’s iconic cotton canvas sneakers in a series of portraits.

“Superga is synonymous with Italy so when I was asked to become the brand’s new ambassador, I immediately thought about how it’s one of my favourite countries – I spent a part of my honeymoon there,” Hailey said in a statement announcing the new partnership.

The model wed Justin Bieber in 2018 after a whirlwind romance.

The 24-year-old said that teaming up with the Italian brand suited her casual, laidback style perfectly.

“I love the story and heritage of this brand. Superga is a shoe that has stayed true to its origins and never gone out of style. It’s timeless and classy and I feel it perfectly matches my personal style,” Hailey added.

Superga said in a statement that Hailey was the ideal choice to front the campaign for their sustainable sneakers.

Photographer Stevie Dance worked with the model for the shoot, with Gabriella Karefa-Johnson styling a fresh-faced Hailey with a pared down look, complete with crisp white shirts, denim and tank tops, accessorised with gold jewellery.

The brand has recently launched the Organic Collection, which is a capsule line of sneakers made from eco-friendly materials, such as organic cotton, hemp, recycled rubber and cork.
