TMZ was the first to report that Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from her husband Brad Pitt on Monday.

Jolie listed the date of separation as September 15, 2016 and cited irreconcilable differences.

The two have been married for two years, together for 12, and they have six children together.

The report went on to say that the split was the result of a parenting dispute, and that Jolie was “extremely upset with his methods.”

Jolie is asking for physical custody of all the children. She is not requesting any spousal support.

TMZ soon updated their original story to say, “Angelina became “fed up” with Brad’s consumption of weed and possibly alcohol, and mixed with what she believes is “an anger problem” … felt it became dangerous for the children.”

There are also rumors of another woman, but none have been confirmed. Names that are being floated include former Brad Pitt flame Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Pitt’s current co-star Marion Cotillard. TMZ disputes these claims at this time.

Angelina Jolie is being repped by attorney Laura Wasser, who is the same attorney that represented Johnny Depp in his divorce from Amber Heard.

The two have not been seen together in public since July.
