Hilary Duff has collaborated with Smash + Tess to create her own mummy-and-me collection of rompers and jumpsuits.
Pregnant Hilary, who’s expecting her third child, recently launched the S+T x Hilary Duff collection, and revealed she jumped at the opportunity to collaborate as she’s been constantly wearing their size-inclusive rompers during her latest pregnancy.
“I’ve been wearing their rompers for a couple of years now. When (founder Ashley Freeborn) reached out, it was probably two months into the quarantine in Los Angeles, and I had been a second grade teacher to my son for like 11 weeks – so I was like, hell yeah, I’m down to do something creative,” she told Vogue.
The star was inspired by her two kids, son Luca, eight, and two-year-old daughter Banks, while creating the comfortable line, and she even named styles in the limited-edition collection after them.
Among the items on offer in the S+T x Hilary Duff collection is a Banks romper with shoulder pads, and a gender-neutral Mini Luca onesie, with matching garments she calls “romperalls” – a cross between a romper and overalls – for mothers, too.
The range is offered in neutral colours –black, beige, and grey – which Hilary picked to reflect her own go-to maternity style, revolving around soft, simple silhouettes.
“I was newly pregnant, so it was fun to create a collection of clothes that I knew would look cute on me in the moment, and then grow with me throughout the pregnancy. It’s not maternity, but it’s size-inclusive, and looks good on everyone’s bodies,” she shared.
The collection is available now in sizes XXS to XXXL.
