H&M has collaborated with Brock Collection on a “romantic yet sophisticated” clothing line.

On Tuesday, bosses at the Swedish high street retailer announced that their next designer partnership would be with Laura Vassar and Kristopher Brock, who founded their Los Angeles-based label back in 2014.

Featuring a relaxed aesthetic and vintage-style pieces, the forthcoming womenswear capsule will include charming dresses, separates, denim, and accessories.

“Brock Collection has always been about connecting the threads between uptown polish paired with a down-to-earth ease, which we are so happy to bring to a new audience,” said Vassar and Brock. “Each piece in the collection is special and carries a certain romantic charm, but is totally effortless.”

The designers opted to focus on a chic colour palette of black, pale pinks, off-white, cream, and washed denim, and made a point of using sustainable materials like organic linen and cotton wherever possible.

And there will undoubtedly be huge interest in the feminine dresses with tie-up shoulder straps, corset-inspired tops, dreamy blouses, and voluminous skirts.

“We’re thrilled to be collaborating with Brock Collection, who are well-known for their luxe craftsmanship, impeccable fits, and structures, and have quite the celebrity following. But there’s also beauty in the fact that their designs always feel down-to-earth, thoughtful, and easy to wear – I believe that’s the key to their success,” praised Maria Östblom, head of design at H&M. “We want to celebrate romance and make it accessible to the many. By adding more sustainable materials, it creates for a collaboration I hope our customers around the world will fall in love with.”

The H&M x Brock Collection line will be available online and in selected H&M stores worldwide from 1 June.
