Wednesday was a cruel, cruel day on the Internets for House of Cards fans

For on this day, the gods of streaming tried to get us to believe in miracles once again when, out of nowhere, some two weeks early, Netflix decided to make season three of “House of Cards” available for viewing.

Twitter and social media networks around the world went bonkers. People wondered if perhaps Netflix was taking a page out of Beyonce’s playbook and releasing the new season unannounced.

Fat chance.

No sooner were major media outlets reporting the surprise content dump when Netflix herself snatched back the episodes.

And then she taunted us…

Our only solace is go back and watch the first two seasons back to back. Or watch the trailer on repeat for a couple weeks.
