“Masters of the Universe: Revelation” on Netflix is a continuation of the classic “He-Man” cartoon that ran from 1983-85 and the toy line that launched in 1982.

Kevin Smith (of Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma + fame) developed the series. Five (of 10) episodes dropped on Netflix last Friday.

Bottom line: Jason and Alexis LOVE it!

Smith did an amazing job updating the story, expanding beyond He-Man and depicting strong women.

The series has been getting some negative feedback.
