Jennifer Lopez rocked an all-white Chanel outfit as she performed on Inauguration Day.
The 51-year-old sang This Land Is Your Land and America the Beautiful for the swearing-in of Joe Biden, the 46th president of the United States, and Vice President Kamala Harris, while dressed head-to-toe in pieces from the French fashion house.
Lopez’s look featured a long tweed coat from Chanel’s fall/winter 2020/2021 ready-to-wear collection, shimmering wide-leg trousers and a ruffled cream chiffon blouse, from the maison’s fall/winter 2019/2020 ready-to-wear line, teamed with Jimmy Choo heels. She finished the look with her $1 million engagement ring from fiance Alex Rodriguez.
And in a sweet tribute to history-making Harris, who is known for her signature pearl necklaces and earrings, Lopez accessorised her outfit with a stacked pearl bracelet, belt and earrings.
“Thank you so much to my #GlamFam!!!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! THANK YOU for being there with me and for me from the small personal events to my biggest moments #Inauguration2021,” the Hustlers star wrote on Instagram, alongside a series of snaps showing Lopez wearing her all-white outfit with a matching Chanel beret.
The inauguration was an event full of show-stopping fashion moments, with the new president himself wearing a custom navy blue suit by Ralph Lauren, complete with matching tie, overcoat and face mask.
First Lady Jill Biden stunned in a sparkling ocean blue wool tweed coat and dress by Alexandra O’Neill’s label Markarian, while Harris wore a purple coat and dress by up-and-coming American designer Christopher John Rogers.
Former First Lady Michelle Obama wowed in a deep purple outfit by Sergio Hudson, which featured a matching sweater and trousers complete with a cashmere coat, as she attended the ceremony with husband Barack Obama.
