Justin Bieber posted a video apologizing for his behavior for the past year and a half to the general public following an appearance on the “Ellen DeGeneres” show.
The singer appeared to surprise Ellen on her birthday, and apologized for having been nervous.
“I think I was nervous because I was afraid of what people are thinking about about me right now. It’s been a minute since I’ve been in a public appearance, and I didn’t want to come off arrogant or conceited or basically how I’ve been acting the past year and a half,” Bieber whispered in his dimly lit video.
He goes on to talk about how hard it is to grow up in the business, and that growing up in general is hard. And he notes that he wants people to know who he really is, and not who he is pretending to be.
Just over a week ago, Bieber was spotted heading to lunch with his manager (who also happens to be Kris Jenner’s new boyfriend) Corey Gamble carrying the book “As A Man Thinketh.” This book has been touted as one of the first male focused self-help books.
Apparently Justin Bieber thinketh that he is a changed man.
We’ll see. As I say to my children, an apology without action is just words.0
