Kate Beckinsale has been named as the face of anti-ageing skincare line, MRVL Skin Solutions.

The Jolt actress will front a campaign for the new brand, which is set to launch in fall 2021.

“I’m so very proud and excited to be working with MRVL Skin,” the 48-year-old said. “Effective skincare is what all women want at any age.”

Founded by entrepreneur Rick Langley, the scientists at MRVL Skin Solutions have spent years developing a “blue scorpion peptide”.

The ingredient is reported to “help stimulate natural collagen production”, fight free radicals, help regenerate symptoms of damaged skin and smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.”

Regarding the appointment of Beckinsale as a brand ambassador, Langley insisted the brunette beauty was the perfect fit.

“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Kate Beckinsale. She is the embodiment of timeless beauty, and has a wonderful sense of humour, intelligence and kindness making her the perfect ambassador for MRVL Skin Solutions,” he added.

In addition, Langley has announced that five per cent of each purchase of MRVL Skin Solutions products will be donated to support Today’s Promises, a non-profit charity that aids impoverished children in the Caribbean.
