Khloe Kardashian jumped to her sister Kim’s defense on Monday night (17Dec18) after a troll questioned whether or not the reality star’s daughter Chicago is biologically hers.
Kim shared a throwback snap of herself on social media on Sunday night, with sister Kylie Jenner among those commenting on how much baby Kim looks like her 10-month-old daughter Chicago.
However, one person disagreed with the comparison, arguing that Chicago, who was carried by a surrogate as complications in Kim’s first two pregnancies meant she was unable to carry another child, “would either look MORE like Kanye (West) or the surrogate mother”.
Khloe was quick to respond to the troll’s remarks, hitting back: “If you don’t know about someone’s situation then maybe you shouldn’t comment. Try informing yourself first before you make such silly statements.
“Your (sic) passive wanna be petty comment is simply uneducated. Chicago is completely Kimberly’s biological child. Praise the lord she was able to have a surrogate and that we are blessed we sweet gorgeous Chi Chi.”
The user replied insisting Chicago is “beautiful” but reiterating the point once again, to which Khloe responded: “I am saying you must be more informed before speaking on something that you don’t know anything about apparently.
“Chicago is Kimberly’s DNA. Her and her husband made embryos and then they were blessed enough to have a surrogate carry their child for them since Kimberly is unable to. God bless modern medicine.”
Kim, who is also mother to five-year-old North and three-year-old Saint with Kanye, documented her pregnancy struggles in her family’s reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians. And speaking previously about her decision to enlist the help of a surrogate to complete her family, Kim wrote in a post on her website: “After exploring many options, Kanye and I decided to use a gestational carrier. Although I have used the term surrogate in the past, a gestational carrier is actually the technical term for a woman who carries a baby that she has no biological relationship to.”
