Lamar Odom has called Khloé Kardashian his soul mate.
The basketball player split from Khloé in December 2013 after four years of marriage, with their divorce finalized in July 2015.
The marriage breakdown came amid rumors Lamar, 35, had a drug problem and had been unfaithful to the reality TV star. It may be coming up to two years since they separated, but Lamar isn’t ready to throw the towel just yet.
“She’s [my] soul mate. I can’t control it. We’ll never part,” Lamar told In Touch magazine.
“I would never consider myself serious with another woman. To sum it up, if a man is attempting to court Khloé, he’s probably wasting his time.”
The declaration comes a week after Lamar and Khloé were involved in an explosive argument outside SoulCycle in Beverly Hills.
An eyewitness told TMZ that Lamar “came out of nowhere” and began shouting at his ex. He has since disputed this claim and further clears the air with In Touch.
“We spoke [beforehand],” he revealed. “A misunderstanding between me and my wife became public. It’s hurtful. That woman is my wife. Without the ring on my finger. [Even] with her picture being taken with another man, that woman is my wife.”
Since the split Khloé has been linked to a string of men, including rapper French Montana and most recently basketball star James Harden.
Seeing the 31-year-old with other men is hard for Lamar.
“[It’s] is weird. And the weirdest part about it is because I really know how she feels about me,” he explained.
