Liv Tyler has given birth to a son.
The 37-year-old actress and her partner David Gardner welcomed the little boy into the world on Wednesday. At the moment details are scarce, but all is thought to be well with the family.
“He’s healthy and everyone is very happy,” Liv’s representative told People.
The publication reports the baby made a surprise appearance as he wasn’t due for another six-and-a-half weeks. Due to that, it’s thought he will stay in hospital for a little while.
This is the second son for Liv, who is also mother to ten-year-old Milo from her marriage to Royston Langdon. David is also a father to a boy, seven-year-old Gray.
Liv confirmed she was expecting in September, following rumors she was with child after she was spotted with a noticeable baby bump.
She’s been happy to talk about her pregnancy too, telling Town & Country magazine how much she was enjoying it in November.
“The most fun thing about being pregnant again is having those mom hormones flowing around. You’re more present in your body, and it’s making me a better mother for Milo,” she said.
She also joked about how nice it was to give up dieting for a few months, laughing she’s enjoyed not having to obsess about SoulCycle classes.
However, she was more reticent about discussing the man in her life.
“If we were girlfriends I would,” she giggled.
