Oswald the Lucky Rabbit?!
Who is thought to be a precursor to one of animation’s most iconic characters, Mickey Mouse. It was discovered in Japan in the possession of an 84-year-old-man who had bought the film as a teenager.
Even though in 2018, they are 2 distinct Disney characters, I truly do believe that in 1928, Oswald essentially BECAME Mickey Mouse; the early MM shorts basically pick up where OTLR left off. In that way, Disney’s Oswald lived on. pic.twitter.com/hTEu2FMxXU
