Megan Thee Stallion is launching a swimwear collection.

The Grammy award-winning music star confirmed she is developing her partnership with the Fashion Nova brand by releasing a swim line influenced by “80s Miami revival”, reports WWD.

“We worked hard to make sure all the sexiest pieces, for all body types, were in this collection,” Megan said in a statement. “I am so excited to get my hotties ready for summer.”

The collection will launch on 23 June, and along with swimsuits, Megan has also worked on dresses, matching sets, cover-ups, accessories and even coordinated looks for pets. Pieces will be available in animal prints, neon, neutrals and feature cutouts.

The new fashion range is right on brand for the WAP rapper, who coined the phrase “Hot Girl Summer” in her 2019 track of the same name, to encourage people to lead confident lives.

“(Hot Girl Summer is) just basically about women and men being unapologetically them, just having a good-a*s time, hyping up your friends, doing you, not giving a damn about what nobody got to say about it,” she previously explained.

Since first collaborating with Fashion Nova last year, Megan has revealed her accessible approach to fashion and a desire to create pieces that are affordable and also available to women of all heights, shapes and sizes. Her ultimate goal is for the wearer to feel confident and sexy in her pieces.

Megan has been busy lately – as well as confirming the release of a swimwear collection, she also dropped her latest track Thot S**t last Friday.
