Naomie Harris is celebrating after becoming a patron of the performing arts charity, Total Insight Theatre.

The James Bond star hopes she can help its teams engage young people, especially those from marginalised communities, and use theatre to address social issues.

“I am delighted to undertake the role of patron for such a fantastic charity,” she says in a press statement. “Small arts charities such as Total Insight Theatre are essential to our industry. Without them, so many children and young people would not get the opportunity to engage in the arts.

“Total Insight Theatre helps make arts and culture accessible to more children and young people, through a range of creative programmes, and I am very much looking forward to helping them in their efforts to continue this great work.”

The theatre non-profit was founded in 2014, and they run workshops and workshops and deliver performances at schools, libraries, youth centres and pupil referral units across the Moonlight actress’ native U.K.
