In the 90’s, Thursday night TV was the single best night of television. Anchored by ‘Seinfeld’ and ‘Friends’ with other frequent contributors including ‘Mad About You’, ‘The Single Guy’, ‘Will & Grace’, etc. Everyone knew that Thursday night was THE night for good TV.
And NBC remembers how well that formula worked, and they are going with it again. NBC announced at the Upfronts this week that they will bring back the Must See TV moniker, and they will move some of their best programming to Thursday night.
The ‘Will & Grace’ revival will anchor the evening along with the intensely popular ‘This is Us.’ New program ‘Great News’ produced by Tina Fey and ‘Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders’ will round out the evening.
Get ready for Thursday nights in front of the boob-tube! Must see TV is BACK!0
