Love her or hate her, you can’t deny that Kris Jenner is a cultural force to be reckoned with.
I don’t really need to explain much about Jenner: She’s momager mastermind behind the Kardashian/Jenner empire, creating household names out of her family and she has brokered dozens of business deals for her children. Some have been more successful than others, but you can’t deny that Kris is a savvy businesswoman. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of the Kardashians – I’ve never purchased any of their merchandise and I rarely watch their shows, but I am continually fascinated by them as a cultural phenomenon.
Jenner recently sat down with Janet Mock for an episode of Mock’s Never Before podcast. In this revealing interview, Kris talks in-depth about her life and her business philosophy, opening up about her journey from being a housewife to running a cultural empire.

It’s easy to dismiss Kris and the rest of the Kardashians as a vapid, destructive force in popular culture, but I challenge people to really listen to Jenner what drives to succeed. You might be surprised at how humble and grounded she really is…
No doubt, I still have plenty of criticisms about how the Kardashians do business (I agree with all the issues pointed out in this Marie Claire article) but after listening to this podcast, I can respect Kris and her pursuit of the hustle for not only her family, but all of those who work in the greater Kardashian/Jenner branded world.
