Rufus Wainright and 1,500 person choir create a spot of peace, singing Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah”

It’s fair to say we need something to bring us together each day right now.

The news of the world has been painful and difficult to say the least.

Rufus Wainright, who has famously and flawlessly covered Leonard Cohen’s beautiful song “Hallelujah” in the past teamed up with Choir! Choir! Choir!, a group that boasts nearly 2000 members.

And the result will give you chills, and hope.

Though the recording took place on June 30, the world needs this today.
