In a new interview, Ryan Reynolds says getting married on a South Carolina plantation was “something we’ll always be deeply and unreservedly sorry for.”
“What we saw at the time was a wedding venue on Pinterest. What we saw after was a place built upon devastating tragedy.”
@VancityReynolds shout out to you and your wife for your statement about the southern plantation. It’s appreciated more than you know by some of your fans.

I get that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are apologetic for having their wedding at a plantation, but who was the person that thought this was a great venue? In college my friends wanted to stay in slaves quarters in east Texas on a plantation. Why? What’s charming about that?
