Olympic champion Simone Biles has withdrawn from the final of the Tokyo 2020 individual all-around gymnastics event due to concerns over her mental health.

After further medical evaluation, Simone Biles has withdrawn from the final individual all-around competition. USA Gymnastics confirms that Simone Biles will not participate in Thursday’s women’s all-around final to focus on her mental health.
